Last week the Mattioli Arena, Leicester hosted The Mead Educational Trust's (TMET) annual conference and learning day.
Filling the Arena with 1500 Mead staff, along with Former Chief Crown Prosecutor Nazir Afzal; Educating Yorkshire's Musharaf Asghar; Denisa Gannon, the first Roma person to qualify as a solicitor in the UK; and all-round inspirational speaker Jaz Ampaw-Farr.
We were delighted to welcome TMET back for their annual conference again this year and look forward to building on the success of the previous two events to make next year even bigger and better.
As well as filling the Mattioli's main arena, the conference included a large partner's exhibition in the Mattioli Courts and a host of break out and meeting spaces, fully utilising the venue's varied room layouts.
Each of the 1500 attendees were supplied with a freshly prepared lunchbox from the arena's kitchen, accomodating a wide range of dietary needs and served refreshments were available during the break out periods within the main arena.
The flexible seating arrangements of our main arena were fully utilised for the conference, with grandstand seating deployed along with floor seating and a stage incorporating bespoke lighting and sound system.
Break out meeting rooms were arranged in informal layouts for individual meetings and to provide quieter spaces for delegates throughout the day.
